Rural and Indigenous-serving health systems face unique challenges. Fort Defiance Indian Health Board, Inc.'s Leadership Council (LC) is addressing these challenges through innovative and culturally-based interventions, including rebranding and revising the organizations "Journey to Hozho" based on culturally centered concepts and philosophies such as hozho and k'e.
