Both CNOs will share how they strategically determine the number of night-shift supervisors needed to ensure effective operations.
Collaboration with nursing unit-based managers

Following the presentation, one or two Administrative Supervisors will share real-world examples of how they foster strong partnerships and effective communication with unit-based managers.
Administrative Supervisor Functional Competencies
An Administrative Supervisor will present the research on Administrative Supervisor Functional Competencies, outlining the essential skills and behaviors that define the role. A nurse leader will then discuss how these competencies can be applied in practice to strengthen leadership performance and support nursing operations.
