A Magnet hospital launched a two-year cultural transformation initiative to address burnout and incivility by engaging leaders, physicians, and frontline teams in a unified, evidence-based approach. The Intermediate Care Unit, once challenged by turnover, burnout, and low morale, achieved significant improvements in patient experience, retention, and communication through the Healthy Workforce Framework. Its success has since been replicated across additional departments with similarly strong results.
