The Manager Relief Program was established based on leadership turnover, burnout, and need for succession planning. The budget neutral program allows leaders to gain experiences with proven results over an extended time, stabilize departments, and share best practices while navigating complexities of the manager role. The outcomes of the program were decreased turnover, vacancy, and agency costs. Other results were subjective positive feedback in access to leadership, staffing, and well-being.
